Born in New Haven, I spent most of my life in Connecticut. I attended art school at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, whereupon graduation I earned the Excellence in Sculpture Award. After completing my degree, I chose to relocate, ultimately deciding on Philadelphia.

My recent focus on drawing has strengthened my skill set and broadened my artistic repertoire. I invest time drawing at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Plastic Club, other places offering open model sessions, and areas in the city I find inspirational.

For those unfamiliar, the Plastic Club has been devoted to the promotion and preservation of the visual (plastic) arts in Philadelphia since 1897. Currently, I monitor for the Philadelphia Sketch Club, America’s oldest continuously operating club for professional artists.
